How To Make Bakso Ikan (Fishballs)

Bakso (meatballs) is one of the favorite food in Indonesia. Almost everyone loves bakso , and the bakso can also be found in every city either at the roadside or in the restaurant. Do you know? Ingredients for fishball soup :

Garlic (20 cloves)
Onion (7 cloves)
Fried Onion (5 tablespoons)
Salt (4 tablespoons)
Sugar (2 tablespoons)
Pepper powder (1 tablespoon)
Scallion (8 stalks), thinly sliced
Water (6 ltr)

How to make fishball soup :

Boil the water
Mashed garlic and onion
Put all ingredients into the water, stir until boiling
Reduce the heat

Fishball recipe :

Fish fillets (2000 gr)
Garlic (25 cloves)
Starch (400 gr)
Pepper powder (5 tablespoons)
MSG (3 tablespoons)
Ice cubes (300 gr)
Salt (4 tablespoons)

How to make fishball :

Minced fish fillet in a meat grinder
Mashed garlic
Mix the minced fish with salt, garlic, pepper powder, MSG, and starch. Mix until well blended, add ice cubes little by little
Heat the water over low heat until boiling
Grasp the dough, press and cut the dough with a spoon and put the fishball one by one carefully. Boil until the fishballs float
Drain the fishball and serve it with the fishball soup
